By Ayo Onikoyi

Power of Tomorrow, a film produced by entertainer Jolly Abani will be premiered on Saturday August 15th in Abuja.

Speaking with journalists in Abuja, Abani, the producer of the film who also stars as Mrs. Allen, said that all necessary arrangements have been put in place to make the film premier a night of classy entertainment.

“This is just as she disclosed that top Nollywood actors such as Oge Okoye, I.K Ogbonna, Yakubu Mohammed and Jibola Dabo who played major roles in the film will lead other names from the film industry to the red carpet event.

“We have dotted the i’s and crossed the t’s towards making our film premier one that guests and movie lovers will remember for its class and glamour”, she said.

Speaking on the story idea behind the film which is her first as a producer, Abani said Power of Tomorrow was made to remind mothers of their role in the home and the society at large.

She said, “Power of Tomorrow which I also love to call Mirror In The Sun is an eye opener. It is a story of what some women in politics have to do in order to succeed. Yes, I believe in gender equality but I also believe that a woman should first be a woman.

Women should never neglect their role in the family and society, just because they want to make it in life or politics. I don’t think that a woman should go all the way like, Mrs. Allen, the main character in my movie did”.

She further said that political bigwigs such as the former governor of Ebonyi state, Senator Sam Egwu, All Progressives Congress chieftain and former governor of Abia state, Dr Ogbonnaya Onu as well as successful investors like Chisco Transport boss, Chief Chidi Anyiegbu and Dr Donald  Peterson are scheduled for the event.
