Wolves have two games outstanding and will be confident of closing the gap on the pace-setters when they play them

And speaking with Sports Vanguard after the game, Wolves defender, Goodluck Onamado, who conceded the penalty that allowed Enyimba’s Obiozor to draw level after Eagles forward, Gbolahan Salami’s opening goal in the 43rd minute, said that Wolves had reasons to celebrate breaking the jinx that prevented them from beating Enyimba in the last four seasons.

“This a great feat that we have achieved because Enyimba were the only team that we were yet to be beat here until today (Sunday). It has always been a tough one against them and for us to beat them today marks a break from the past and we are so overjoyed”, said Onamado.
