KANO – The authority of Kano central prison Monday morning flew detained former Governor of Jigawa state, Alhaji Sule Lamido, his sons, Aminu and Mustapha to Abuja ahead Tuesday hearing of the bail application by a vacation judge.

Prison sources who do not want his name in print said the trio left the detention facilities by 10.00am.

Hundreds of supporters that had besieged the detention facility had disappeared as warders informed those who had turned up for visit that the strong man of Jigawa politics has been take to Abuja.

The development gave credence to hope that the self style Talakawa apostle may be set to regain his freedom within the next 24 hours
