About six persons were reportedly killed in a crude oil pipeline fire explosion at Azuzuama on the Atlantic fringe of Southern Ijaw local government area of Bayelsa State.

The number of casualties is believed to be higher as several other persons among them soldiers on security duty were still missing as at press time.
