Senator Solomon Adeola, representing Lagos West Senatorial District, hails the conferment of the Senior Advocate of Nigeria, (SAN) status on Dr. Muiz Banire, saying the gesture is in recognition of his hard work and dedication to public service.

According to Adeola, who made the remarks in a press statement signed by his office, the elevation of Banire, the National Legal Adviser of All Progressives Congress to the rank of a SAN by the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee(LPPC) is highly merited and desirable for the legal profession.

He added, “Dr. Banire who is a constituent from Mushin in my senatorial district is a people lawyer fighting the cause of the common man and common good.

His dedicated service transverses teaching of law at tertiary institution, a rich private legal practice and meritorious service in the public in government in various capacities”

I have no doubt that the elevation of Banire would further spur him to work harder in enriching jurisprudence in Nigeria adding that the legal profession at the level of SAN need legal minds in the mold of Banire to clean out some sharp practices in the legal profession and the judiciary.” He ended
