1. Start with the primer.

    First things first, eye primer is an essential step when applying your eye makeup. Whether you’re applying just simple eyeliner or accentuating your eyes with eyeshadow. Eye primer protects your eye makeup from melting or fading after spending many hours outside day or night.

2. Hide the dark circles.

  You need to even out your dark circles by choosing a slightly lighter and warmer concealer shade than your own skin tone. This make your eyes look more relaxed and makeup will be more visible.

3. Apply the first layer of eyeshadow.

Pick a color that goes well with your skin tone and eye color. And then make sure you have a light shade of that color and a dark shade of the same color. For example, if you are using pink, choose a light pink and a very dark pink color.

4. Blend in the light eyeshadow.

Now you need to take your light eyeshadow and apply it all over the eye lid and subtly under the eyes.

5. Finish off with dark eyeshadow.After applying the light eyeshadow, you need to start applying your dark eyeshadow on the outer corners of your eyes. Now, this is a very important step to master how to accentuate your eyes with eyeshadow.

You need to have a small eyeshadow brush with edgy hairs, so you can apply the dark eyeshadow in a straight line on the upper lid and the bottom lid. Also you will need to apply a thin and faded line of dark eyeshadow at the deep part of your eye lid. Don’t forget to apply mascara, a lot of mascara, long eye lashes are the key to beautiful eyes.
