Jos—Plateau State Governor, Simon Lalong, Monday, appointed the first set of his aides with the former Minority Leader, in the state House of Assembly, Mr. Rufus Bature, becoming the Secretary to the State Government, SSG.

This was contained in a statement by the Permanent Secretary, Policy and General Services, in the State Civil Service, Mr Izam Azi.

Lalong also announced the appointment of Mr John Dafa’an as Chief of Staff, Government House,  with Yusuf Hawaja as his deputy, while Mr Silas Vem is to serve as Deputy Chief of Staff, Deputy Governor’s Office.

Also, appointed was Mr Emmanuel Nanle as Director of Press Affairs just as Prof. John Wade, the pioneer VC of Plateau State University, Bokkos, was named the new Director-General, Research; Mr Cyril Tsenyil was  named the  Accountant-General, even as Mr Cletus Kangkum, former Director, Administration, Jos University Teaching Hospital , was appointed as the Principal Private Secretary, PPS, to Lalong.
