Police didn’t kill Falaki, says AIG

Mr Tambari Yabo, the Assistant Inspector General in Charge of Zone 1, Kano, has dismissed insinuations by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) that the police were responsible for the death of Prof. Ahmed Falaki. Yabo spoke on Wednesday in Kano while briefing newsmen on the issue. He recalled that on Feb. 14, the police reported that a gang of insurgents had attacked a police station in Kibiya Local Government Area of the state where they exchanged gun shots with the police.
