Sen. Gbenga Ashafa has described Late Chief Moshood Kashimawo Abiola as a man who will always be remembered in Nigeria and abroad, while emphasizing that his footprints remain indelible in the country’s politics, sports and philanthropy.

Ashafa who joined other Nigerians in commemorating the 22nd year of the annulled June 12, 1993 presidential election which was supposedly won by Abiola took to his twitter to praise the landmarks achieved by the legend.
