Chad arrives tomorrow

The Chadian national team will arrive Nigeria tomorrow for the all important 2017 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier with the Super Eagles of Nigeria billed to take place on Saturday at the Ahmadu Bello Stadium, Kaduna.chad

General Secretary of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), Dr. Mohammed Sanusi who revealed this in a chat with Sports Vanguard also said that the team will be arriving aboard an Air France aircraft.

According to him the NFF held a meeting with the Charge d’ Affairs of Chad who they informed the federation that the Chadian contingent will be arriving with their players and supporters.

“The Charge d’ Affairs of Chad came here on Monday and informed me that their contingent will arrive Nigeria on Thursday from France where they have been training. He told me that they will feel at home in Nigeria because it is like a second home for them. “I also assured him of the maximum support and hospitality of Nigerians and to feel free to demand for any assistance from us. However I told him of the need for members of their supporters club to be of good behaviour just as we have always ensured that our own behaved well wherever they go.”

Sanusi also revealed that the Chadian team which is billed to head straight to Kaduna have been training in France for the past two weeks. The scribe also reassured Nigerians that the Super Eagles are poised for a total victory against Chad, adding that the NFF on its part has done its bit by ensuring that the players and their officials get all that they need to be on top of their game.
