Uyo—Governor Udom Emmanuel of Akwa Ibom State has appointed Mr Etekamba Umoren, Chief of Staff to the immediate past governor, as the Secretary to the State Government, SSG and  Pastor Bassey Umoh, former Auditor General of Local Government as Permanent Secretary, Governor’s Office.

Also Mr. Ekerete Udoh, immediate past Director of Media and Publicity for Udom/Moses 2015 Campaign Organisation was appointed Senior Special Assistant, Media and Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Mr. Aniekpeno Mkpanang, the Permanent Secretary (Protocol) in the immediate past government, is the new Permanent Secretary, Special Services Department, SSD.

Others include Mr. Edmond Uffang,  Protocol Chief Offices and Pastor Daniel Akwatang as the Special Assistant to the Governor on Religious Affairs while the Finance and General Purposes Committee, FGPC, is now chaired by the governor himself.
