LAGOS—The Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industry, LCCI, yesterday, assured stakeholders that it would sustain the ICTEL Expo because of its relevance to the economy.
Speaking at the opening ceremony of the 2015 Information Communication Technology Expo (ICTEL Expo) in Lagos, the President of LCCI, Alhaji Remi Bello, said the chamber would provide a credible platform for programmes like the ICTEL Expo to advance the opportunities and linkages in the world of ICT.
“We hope to make this event an annual one in order to build economic bridges across all sub-sectors and players in the ICT sector. We plan continuously to broaden the horizon and scope of the Expo over the coming years. We see great investment opportunities coming from interactions and business integration among ICT players and their customers,” he said.
He also, said the relevance, sensitivity and importance of the ICT and telecommunication sectors in the country cannot be over emphasized, adding that, virtually all sectors rely on ICT for all aspects of their operations.
