ASABA—WITH less than three days to his exit from government, Secretary to Delta State Government, SSG, Mr Ovuozorie Macaulay, has said that he has been a slave to his people, the Isoko ethnic nationality, in his 12 years in government. Macaulay, while presenting what he termed My Stewardship in Government, to his people at Oleh, Isoko South Local Government Area of the state, said he contributed immensely, both in cash and kind, to the upliftment and development of the Isoko nation.
He added that he influenced several juicy appointments and projects to his people, adding: “I was instrumental to several appointments and projects in Isokoland. I also contributed to the Oleh campus of Delta State University, financially and otherwise and through my efforts, roads, electricity, jobs and so many other things were done in several Isoko communities.”
