Lagos—Two brothers, Obiefuna Umeh, 28, and Ebuka Umeh, 27, were yesterday, arraigned before an Igbosere Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stealing N5.2 million from their employer.
They are facing a two-count charge bordering on conspiracy and stealing preferred against them by the police.
The prosecutor, Marcus Okon, told the court that the defendants conspired between themselves to commit the alleged offence between 2013 and 2015.
He said they stole N5,282,000 from one Nzube Ojukwu, while working with him as sales representatives.
Magistrate O. O. Oshin granted the defendants bail in the sum of N500,000 each with two responsible sureties, each in like sum.
She adjourned the matter till June 17.
