ONITSHA—The  Liaison Officer to Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State in Nnewi South Local Government Area, Jerome Ifeanyi Igwe, has attributed the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA’s overwhelming victory during April 11 State House of Assembly polls to Obiano’s doggedness and articulated political sagacity.

Igwe said at Ebenator in Nnewi South that the opposition had wished to form the majority in the State House to frustrate the smooth administration of the governor but had been disappointed at the polls by the wishes of the electorate.

He said  the same victory would have been recorded by the APGA in the March 28 National Assembly election “except that we were rigged out but we are sure to regain our mandate at the tribunal.”
