Former President,  Chief Oluegun Obasanjo,  governor of Ogun State,  Senator Ibkunle Amosun and his predecessor,  Otunba Gbenga Daniel have won their polling units in the governorship and house of Assembly elections in the state.

Obasanjo who cast his vote at ward 11 unit 22 , Olusomi compound in Totoro , Abeokuta was believed to have cast his vote for APC which recorded 95 vote for  governorship while his former party,  PDP recorded 4 just as Social Democratic Party had 14.

In his polling booth ,  Ajura ward 4 unit 3 , in Obafemi-owode, governor of the state,  who is the governorship candidate of the APC  won as he polled   212,while the  PDP  and SDP scored scored 30 votes and   2 respectively.

The former governor,  Otunba Gbenga Daniel who cast his vote at Isote in Sagamu  also won his polling booth for the PDP.  The PDP polled 167while APC polled 108 votes.

The governorship candidate of the PDP, Prince  Gboyega Nasiru Isiaka won his polling unit.

Isiaka who cast his vote at Imeko ward in Imeko-Afon local government area of  the state,  polled 213 while APC and SDP polled 35 and 11 votes respectively.

The incumbent deputy governor of the state,  Prince Segun Adesegun who is a deputy governorship candidate of the SDP in the state,  won his ward 8 unit 7 polling booth with 98 votes while APC and PDP Scored 63 and 78 votes respectively.

Meanwhile,  the incumbent speaker of the state,  Suraju Adekunbi who represents Yewa North 1 constituency on the platform of  the APC had  reportedly lost to the candidate of the PDP.

Also,  his deputy, Tola Banjo who represents Ijebu-Ode constituency was also reported to have been defeated by PDP candidate
