Gbolahan Salami will play for Warri Wolves in the 2014/15 Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) season after his move to Serbian club Red Star Belgrade fell through.
The striker has also been registered to play for Wolves in the 2015 Caf Confederation Cup.
Moses Etu, media chief of the club, said Salami would be available for selection as the new season gets under way this weekend.
“I can confirm to you that Salami will resume this weekend after discussions with the management.
“I also spoke with him and he confirmed he will be available this weekend to fight for his shirt. The good thing is that we registered him for the Caf Cup assignment and he will have to fight it out with the rest of the attackers who have proven that they can fill the gap,” Etu said.
