WARRI—PEOPLES’ Democratic Party, PDP, South-South zonal Legal Adviser and Warri South Local Government Area Coordinator for Jonathan/Okowa campaign, Ada Val Arenyeka has called on the electorate to vote President Goodluck Jonathan for President and Senator Ifeanyi Okowa for Governor of Delta State in theb coming elections.

He stated this in Uyo, Akwa-Ibom State capital, during the enlarged South-South zonal meeting of the PDP.

He said: “As far as I am concerned, and from all facts available to us, President Jonathan has creditably discharged his duties as our President and has delivered on his mandate.”

According to him, President Jonathan has fought corruption to a standstill by strengthening the graft agencies, and making Nigeria’s economy healthier by becoming the largest in Africa.

Arenyeka also urged Deltans to cast their vote for Sen. Okowa, saying with him at the saddle, Delta State is in a safe hand.

“In his capacity as a Senator, his vision of legislation coupled with his exceptional dedication to his oversight duties stand him out as a leader of uncommon resourcefulness. We must reject proud and conceited men who are seeking power for the sake of it.

“But Senator Okowa is in the race to further the good works of the present administration, thus bringing prosperity to all Deltans. I therefore enjoin the electorate in Delta State to turn up en masse to vote for Sen. Okowa come, April 11. I also insist Mr. President be re-elected to continue with his people-oriented projects.”
