SENATORIAL candidate of All Progressives Party, APC, in Delta South senatorial district of Delta State, Mr. Temisan Omatseye, has filed a fresh suit before a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja, against the APC, challenging the substitution of his name as the party’s senatorial candidate.

Joined as defendants in the suit are the Independent Electoral Commission, INEC, and Prince Yemi Emiko.

Omatseye is challenging the alleged imposition of Emiko as the APC candidate for Delta South in the forthcoming March 28 poll.

The plaintiff is seeking the continuation of the initial suit he filed before the same court, where he joined INEC, National Chairman of APC, National Working Committee of APC and Prince Yemi Emiko as defendants, which was struck out by the court.
