Lemuel Iyalla storms UNILAG with classical music concert

The main auditorium of the University of Lagos, Akoka, will be on fire on Sunday, March 15, when the debut edition of the long awaited The Lemuel Iyalla Classic Concert in Mars, storms the revered institution of higher learning. The organizer of the event, Lemuel Iyalla disclosed that the concert will feature comedy performances and other side attractions for all lovers and patrons of classical music.

Iyalla, a graduate of Industrial Relations and Personnel Management from the same university further added that the concert would definitely change the face and concept of classical music in Nigeria.

Speaking on the event also, one of the best tenor singers in Nigeria, Iyalla who has performed in various high profile events both within and outside Nigeria said that tickets for his talk of the town concert have been sold out.

Iyalla, who was first introduced to classical music at the age of eight, happily listed some of the gains and benefits of the high-end music, which he has helped to spread round the country as a proud ambassador.“Classical music lowers your blood pressure according to a British study. It relieves your stress levels according to a Taiwanese study,” he said.
