Over N200 billion has been spent on the construction and rehabilitation of roads in the North Central by the Federal Government.
A former Minister of State for Niger Delta and Benue State Coordinator of the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign Organization, PDPPCO, Dr. Sam Ode, made this known at the senatorial districts town hall meeting, organized by his office in Makurdi, Benue State capital.
In his address, the guest speaker and Second Republic senator, Chief Jacob Gyado, stated that unhealthy strife among the tribal blocks in the country had been the bane of Nigeria’s socio-economic development.
