Father of 2 in Police net over lover’s death

A father of two, identified as Christopher Ezekiel, is currently being investigated by the Lagos State Police over the alleged death of his Facebook lover, named Adekemi Faboro.

It was learned that Christopher Ezekiel, an engineer who resides in Ibadan and Adekemi Faboro met online via social media.

Vanguard learned that the father of two travelled from Ibadan, Oyo State, to Lagos to spend the weekend with Adekemi last weekend when the unfortunate incident happened.

Trouble, as gathered, started when Adekemi, a nursery school teacher started, coughing severely at midnight in her home, at 5, Folorunsho Street, off Ajayi Road, Ogba.

When the situation was getting out of hand, tenants who suspected foul play, rushed her to Ifako General Hospital, where she eventually passed on.

Ezekiel was immediately apprehended by the police at Pen Cinema Police Division, while the corpse of Adekemi was deposited at the morgue.

Vanguard also gathered that the suspect’s wife works with Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation, NNPC, in Ibadan.

Confirming the incident, the Lagos Police Public Relations Officer, DSP Kenneth Nwosu, said the suspect, Ezekiel Christopher, was currently in police custody as the case had been transferred to Lagos State investigation department, SCID, Panti, for further investigation to determine the cause of the victim’s death.
