Ex-militant leaders seek recognition by Jonathan

Ex-militant leaders from Obotobo 1, Ogulagha Kingdom, Bonny Gawei and Francis Muturu from Bomadi, Delta State, have cautioned President Goodluck Jonathan to stop aligning himself with some ex-militant leaders to the detriment of others.

The ex-militant leaders reminded the President that a single tree does not make a forest, adding that his predecessor, late President Musa Yar’Adua, who eventually worked with all ex-militants leaders in the region carried everybody along.

The ex-militant leaders, in a statement, lamented their neglect by the Presidency, Amnesty Office and other agencies, querying why the Niger Delta struggle had been personalised and made for the glory of some few persons.

They advised President Jonathan not to put his eggs in one basket explaining that, once they were called upon, they were ready to serve the President for the good of all.
