The governorship candidate of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Abia State, Dr. Okezie Ikpeazu, has promised to reconstruct Obohia and Ohanku roads that traver-sed three local government areas of the state within the first one year of his administra-tion, if voted into power.

Dr. Ikpeazu, who made the promise at a town hall meeting at Ohuru-Ndoki in Ukwa East Local Government area of Abia State, said he recognized the strategic and significant position of the roads to the economic develop-ment of the people of the area and Abians in general.

He said: “As a true son of Ukwa /Ngwa land, who grew up in Aba, I know the peculiarities of our people and I am in the best position, having served the state satisfactorily in previous capacities, to consolidate on the achievements of the present administration.”
