Turner Group woos S-West for Jonathan

A group of professionals, market women and youths resident in the South-West has described President Goodluck Jonathan’s presidency as the best option for Nigeria in the next four years.

In a statement by its Coordinator, Mrs Torubelefa Isaiah, the group urged the South-West in particular to vote for the President to enable him to complete his ongoing development projects across the country.

The group said: ”No president was bold enough to take on the Lagos-Ibadan Express road project until President Jonathan started the construction. Today, it is very clear that Oyo, Ogun and Lagos states have become emerging mega-city states because of the new face of the Lagos-Ibadan expressway.”

They urged the South-West to “use the opportunity of its voting strength to record in history that as one of the highest voting blocs, it has also used its capacity as a geopolitical zone to decide the winner of the 2015 election in favour of President Jonathan to strengthen Nigeria’s unity and progress.”
