Polls won’t disrupt fuel distribution — IPMAN

As the elections inch closer, the Independent Petroleum Marketers Association of Nigeria (IPMAN), Ilorin branch has assured residents of the Kwara State capital and environs of steady availability of petroleum products during and after the elections.

The newly elected Chairman of IPMAN, Ilorin Unit,Alh Okanlawon Olanrewaju, gave the assurance yesterday in an interview with journalists in Ilorin shortly after his swearing in ceremony.

Okanlawon said the union would work with other depot stakeholders to ensure regular supply and appropriate price of petrol, kerosene and diesel in all filling stations.

The IPMAN boss, who said that the union would collaborate with the state government and all other stakeholders to complement the NNPC surveillance efforts of oil pipelines in the unit, added that proper and effective monitoring of oil installations would reduce vandalism to barest minimum.
