Abuja—With the extension of the date for the general elections, the Peoples Democratic Party Presidential Campaign is to begin another round of campaigning to sell the candidacy of President Goodluck Jonathan in at least ten more states of the federation.

Vanguard exclusively gathered that the campaigns, which had been dubbed “consultations”, will kick off in Lagos today and centre mostly in the South West zone which is seen as holding the ace in how the presidential election would turn out.

Though details of the itinerary of the new phase of the consultations has not been made public, Vanguard gathered that the consultations would also cover some states in the North West and North Central zones of the country.
