PDP ‘ll consolidate on achievement since 1999 —Delta Assembly Speaker

SPEAKER of Delta State House of Assembly, Mr. Peter Onwusanya, weekend said the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, administration in the state, would consolidate on the achievements recorded since 1999 with a fresh focus on employment, generation and enhancement of socio political lives of youths and women, if elected in the coming election.

The speaker who gave the assurance during the flag off of his ward to ward election campaign for a second tenure in Asaba, Oshimili South Local Government area, said empowerment and skills acquisition for youths and women would be in the front burner to enhance the standard of living of the people.

Onwusanya said during the campaign in which the Delta North Senatorial and House of Representatives candidates, Peter Nwaoboshi and Onyemaechi Mrakpor, respectively, also promised effective representation, that his second tenure in office would touch the lives of his constituents in many ways.

According to him, “it will be rewarding for all people of Anioma and Delta State in general to vote PDP for all positions from president, governor, Senate, House of Representatives to House of Assembly because the incoming administration will continue to give attention to empowerment of youths and women.”

Earlier, the chairman of PDP in Oshimili South Local Government area, Mr. Ebielim Madueme-zie, assured that the constituents would “vote PDP all the way”.
