Mobile payment service, Paga has rewarded Mr. Charles Nnamdi of ShowDeck Audio Visual System as its highest performing agent in 2014.

Paga said, it chose Nnamdi who runs a Paga outlet in Oshodi, Lagos, because of his consistent high performance throughout the duration of the promo.

The promotion which ran from August to December 2014 was designed to encourage agents on Paga’s network to boost their transaction volumes and values; increase their commissions and stand the chance to win monthly prizes. At the end of the promotion a grand prize winner was selected.

Nnamdi whose prize included a top of the line electronics package and a full branding makeover for his outlet said: I am thankful to God and to Paga for giving me the opportunity to provide vital services to my community and grow my business. Winning one of the monthly prizes during promotion inspired me to work harder than ever and I am excited that my hard work is being acknowledged today in such grand fashion. To have the Founder and Co-founder of Paga here today means a lot to me because it shows that they do appreciate the hard work we agents put in and that they are personally committed to helping us to succeed. That is just one of the many reasons I will keep up the good work, and continue to apply integrity to my Paga business to build acceptance for mobile payments within my community.”

Also speaking, Paga’s Founder/CEO, Tayo Oviosu while explaining Paga’s decision to reward its agents said: “With over 7000 agents, driving over 6.6 million transactions; the agent network remains a vital part of Paga’s mission to transform lives by delivering innovative access to payments anywhere in the country. That is why our primary focus is on empowering our agents by letting them discover firsthand the potential access to payments has not only to transform the lives of people in their own communities but also their businesses. The Do More Earn More promo served as a catalyst to help them explore and build on these profitable opportunities within their various communities. I extremely excited to be here to witness the culmination of hard work and determination shown by Mr.Nnamdi.
