ASABA—In the bid to ensure good governance at all levels of political leadership, an interim management committee for Media Frontiers for Good Governance, has been inaugurated in Asaba, the Delta State capital.
The event which took place at the NUJ Press Centre has Miss Nkechika Vivian as Coordinator; Prince Victor Efeizormor, Chairman; Lawrence Okpewho, Director-General; Onome Tano, Secretary; and Obi Okolie Benedict as Assistant Secretary. Others are Halliburton Almona as director of operations, Ngozi Odiwe and Rukewe Edjeren as Directors of Logistics respectively. Paul Osuyi, and Godfrey Ubaka, Directors of Print. Samuel Fejokwu, Director of Publicity, Napoleon Okwelum, Director of Electronic while, Ufuoma Tuoyo and Ufuoma Onovughakpo are Directors of Social Media.
Also inaugurated are Mr. Emma Fejokwu, Chief Dafe Okereka and Fred Odu as members of the advisory committee of the group.
Inaugurating the members drawn mainly from various government and private media outfits in the state, the Special Adviser to the Delta State Commissioner of Information, Mr. Pius Mordi, commended the initiative of the organizers, while reminding them of the need to be the watch dog of the society, committed and focused on the overall discharge of their duties.
