With less than two weeks to the general elections, Akwa Ibom State Deputy Governor, Lady Valerie Ebe, has continued to sensitize groups, elders, youths and women in the state to vote for candidates of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in the polls.

Speaking when she hosted members of a socio-political group in the state, Uyo Iban Mkpat Enin, who visited her at the Deputy Governor’s Lodge, Government House, Uyo, Lady Ebe said that the PDP governments at both national and state levels have performed well by providing opportunities for women to serve in various positions of government in line with the 35 percent affirmative action of which she is a beneficiary and as such deserves to continue.
