BENIN CITY—HUNDREDS of youths in Edo state under the National Youth Council of Nigeria, NYCN, yesterday embarked on a peaceful rally in Benin City, sensitizing youths in the state against being used by politicians to perpetrate crisis following the postponement of the general elections to March 28, 2015.
The Senior Special Assistant to President Goodluck Jonathan on Youth and Students Affairs, Comrade Jude Imagwe, admonished the youths at the rally against violence, just as he urged them to vote for President Goodluck Jonathan whom according to him, has better plans for the youths of the nation.
Imagwe noted that under the Jonathan’s administration, the Country have witnessed transformation in key sectors of the nation’s economy such as the transformation in the aviation, agriculture and transportation sectors adding that education has received more attention more than any other administration in the country.
“So I want to thank President Jonathan who has given our youths the opportunity to excel and the needed empowerment to succeed.”
