The governorship candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party in Lagos state, Mr. Jimi Agbaje, has promised that his government will work for the poor and the vulnerables in the society if elected in the Feruary 28 guber poll in the state. He said government should not be for the elite only.
“When I talk about change, I do so through the prism of interacting with ordinary people. Government has to Change. Government must work not just for the elite but for the unconnected, the regular man on the streets, the artisan, the market woman, the school teacher, the service man,” he posted on his Facebook page.
Agbaje also promised to make Lagos the commercial centre of West Africa sub-region and the whole of Africa.
“We must begin too see Lagos as not just an economic nerve-center of Nigeria but it must be the commercial center for West Africa sub-region and the whole of Africa,” he said.
