NEW YEAR: Asagba, Nwoko urge Deltans to embrace peace

The Asagba of Asaba, His Royal Majesty, Prof. Chike Edozien, has enjoined Deltans to embrace peace and remain united as the country enters into the New Year 2015.

Also, Delta State Coordinator of the Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, TAN, Prince Ned Nwoko, who has predicted that this year’s general elections will be a milestone in the country’s political history, asked Nigerians to remain peaceful.

In his New Year message, Prof. Edozien said: “The people of Asaba and indeed Delta State, have every reason to thank God for ushering them into 2015,” adding that what citizens need was a peaceful atmosphere that will provide the enabling environment for development.

Meanwhile, Nwoko, the Delta State Coordinating Director of Transformation Ambassadors of Nigeria, has assured that the campaign mobilisation group will identify with Dr. Ifeanyi Okowa in the forthcoming governorship election in the state.
In his New Year message to Deltans, Nwoko, who recently lost his 22 year old son, thanked numerous friends, associates and family for their messages of solidarity.
