Angered by the exclusion of Ndokwa with the outcome of Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship primaries, the Ndokwa Survival Project has thrown its weight behind the governorship candidate of All Progressives Congress, APC, in the state, Mr. O’tega Emerhor.

According to the group, the emergence of PDP’s governorship candidate showed a deliberate attempt to deny the entire Ndokwa nation its proper place in the affairs of the state and the party.

Noting that despite Ndokwa being the oil producing part of Delta North senatorial district, the PDP has displayed open hostility and disdain for them.

He said: “We have suffered too much humiliation in the politics of Delta State and we are now determined to put an end to the what the Ndokwa nation has suffered through the years.

“If we are not considered a bona fide component of Delta North, we will not beg to be accepted by our brothers from our own senatorial district.

“We are, therefore, resolute in endorsing O’tega Emerhor of the APC as the next governor of Delta State, having found in him the right material we need to take our dear state to the next level.”
