Anniversary: Lagos State Governor, Visitor to Lagos State University, LASU, Mr. Babatunde Fashola SAN (right); Pro-Chancellor and Chairman, Governing Council, Mr. Olabode Agusto (2nd right); Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor John Obafunwa (2nd left), and the Special Adviser on Education to the Governor, Otunba Fatai Olukoga (left), during the 19th Convocation Ceremony and Congregation for Award of Higher Degrees as part of activities to mark the University’s 30th Anniversary Celebration, at the Main Auditorium, Ojo, Lagos, yesterday.
Lagos State governor, Mr. Babatunde Fashola, SAN, is expected to be the special guest of honour at the 30th Anniversary / annual law dinner and awards ceremony of Law Students’ Society, Lagos State University, LASU, in honour of a distinguished Leadership Personality of Late Chief Michael Atrib which comes up today.
Others expected at the events as special guests are Prof. John Oladapo Obafunwa, Vice Chancellor, LASU, Dr. Derek Adetokunbo Obadina, Dean, Faculty of Law, LASU and Elias Atrib – Director, Rocky Sporting Club Ltd.
Late Chief Atrib was the founder of Rocky Sporting Club Limited and a philanthropists who had created job opportunities for Nigerians in the late 1990’s.
