ASABA—A former chairmanship aspirant for Ukwuani Local Government Area, Delta State, on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr Basil Ishiekwene, has described the emergence of Senator Ifeanyi Okowa as the state PDP governorship Candidate as an act of God.

Ishiekwene, while speaking to newsmen urged all party faithful to rally round Senator Okowa to ensure victory for the PDP in the February general elections.

He said: “Senator Okowa’s emergence as candidate of the party is a welcomed development because it goes to show that only credible politicians with massive grassroots support can still win elections.”
