WARRI—IJAW leader, Chief Edwin Clark, has appealed to 22 aggrieved Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, 2015 governorship aspirants in Akwa Ibom State to rescind their decision to defect with their supporters to All Progressives Congress, APC, over the controversial party primaries won by Mr. Emmanuel Udom.

In a statement yesterday in Warri, Delta State, Chief Clark, while acknowledging that the aggrieved Akwa Ibom PDP governorship aspirants “felt cheated by Governor Godswill Akpabio’s titanic hold on the party structure,” urged them to wait for a meeting with President Goodluck Jonathan to resolve the issues when he visits Akwa Ibom today.
