PORT HARCOURT—The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Rivers State, has recalled its member, Elemchukwu Ogbowu, who was expelled from the party a few months ago.
State Chairman of the party, Mr Felix Obua, said the development was in line with the party’s constitution, noting that all the rights and privileges of Ogbowu as a member of the party had also been restored.
Ogbowu was among some chieftains of the party expelled few months ago over alleged anti-party activities.
Obua, who spoke through his media aide, Mr Jerry Needam, said Ogbowu showed remorse which made the party lift the expulsion, adding that the others should emulate Ogbowu.
