Ondo promotes 4001 staff of public schools

Akure—Letters of Promotion have been presented by the Ondo state government to 4,001 teaching and non teaching staff of Public Secondary Schools in the State.

The state government assured that the ongoing recruitment exercise of another 1,500 teachers will be completed before the end of January next year.

The Governor of the state, Dr. Olusegun Mimiko, presented the letters of promotion to the beneficiaries during an interactive session for Principals of Public secondary schools in the state which held in Akure, the state capital.

Represented by the Secretary to the State Government, Dr. Aderotimi Adelola, Governor Mimiko said the ceremony is in fulfilment of his promises on assumption of office, which includes, prioritizing the welfare of all workers in the state, particularly payment of salaries and prompt issuance of letters of promotion to deserving staff.
