GOVERNOR Rochas Okorocha of Imo State, has enjoined Christians to remain steadfast to the words of God to surmount the challenges of life.

Okorocha gave the advice while addressing members of the Ikenegbu branch of the Assemblies of God Church during their concluding church service on the ‘Send down Thy Glory ‘crusade with Dr. Ron Kennelly from USA.

The governor maintained that his Rescue Mission government in Imo State had drawn its strength from the word of God, leading to massive infrastructural development of the state as well as the comprehensive free education at all levels in Imo State.

While commending the American gospel artist, Dr. Ron Kennelly for being part of the ‘Send down Thy Glory’ crusade in Owerri, the governor assured that government would continue to partner with churches to bring about moral transformation of the people of the state.

Earlier, Pastor in charge of Assemblies of God Church Ikenegbu, Rev. Bethel Nwanabo, commended Governor Okorocha for his visionary leadership in the state especially the introduction of free education programme and the massive infrastructural transformation in all parts of the state.
