WARRI—A governorship aspirant on the platform of Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Delta State, Mr. Tony Obuh, has advised delegates in Monday’s governorship primaries to vote wisely.
Obuh gave the advice during a whirlwind tour of the 25 local government areas of the state to canvass support for his governorship bid.
He said he was the best candidate to take the state to a higher height.
Speaking at Kwale, headquarters of Ndokwa North Local Government Area of the state, he said: “First and foremost, I want you all to know that power comes from God and as delegates, you must know that your mandates come from God. So you have a responsibility to use it wisely for the good of our dear state.
“There is a commitment I have made to myself and that is to leave a legacy. I am not looking for money at 57 years.
“What I want is an avenue to make an impact and leave marks that people can make reference to for years. I will do something that people of the state will be proud of.”
