Nigerians should beg God for forgiveness—cleric

The Apostleship of Prayer League of the Sacred Heart of Jesus, Lagos Archdiocesan Council, has called on Nigerians to beg for God’s forgiveness and intervention to save the country from chaos, anarchy and doom.

The group made the call at a prayer session to seek solutions to the challenges facing the country.

Speaking at the prayer session, with theme Heart of Jesus, Source of All Consolation, President of the association, Geoffrey Nebeolisa, said there were so many imbalances in the country.

He said: “With the general election around the corner, we invite every Nigerian to pray our country out of the present quagmire, so that there shall be peace and equitable distribution of God-given abundant resources.”
