In a renewed fight against malaria, Mortein from the stables of Reckitt Benckiser has introduced Mortein automatic insect control system made from natural extracts. At launch in Lagos, Marketing Director, West Africa, Reckitt Benckiser, Oguzhan Silivrili represented by the Head, Trade Marketing, Mr. Emmanuel Ugwuanyi said development of the new product was informed by the need to stem the prevalence of malaria in the country and Africa in general.
Silivrili said the new variant is expected to last up to four weeks with more than 2,000 bursts of sprays that ooze out at regular interval of 15 minutes provide continuous protection against crawling and flying insects.
“Malaria can be eliminated in Nigeria. This is the philosophy behind the launch of the new Mortein automatic insect control system. It is the first of its kind in Nigeria, providing a convenient and preventive option against malaria without electricity, this product is safe to use when the room is properly ventilated
