January 1 date for Open Heavens mobile app launch

OPEN Heavens Mobile App 2015 edition, the daily devotional of the Redeemed Christian Church of God, RCCG, is set to launch worldwide on January 1, 2015. The mobile app also known as “iOpenHeavens” will be available across mobile platforms such as Apple iPad, iPhone, iPod Touch, Android, Blackberry, Windows Mobile, Java, Kindle, Windows OS Laptops and PC.

The app will allow users of the daily devotional written by the General Overseer of The Redeemed Christian Church of God Pastor Enoch Adejare Adeboye, access the devotional on the GO!.

According to the CEO, Seyi Fakoya of CREO Consulting Ltd, the firm behind the iOpenHeavens brand assured us that iOpenHeavens promises to go a step further in revealing God’s word daily. He says: “I am excited about the Open Heavens mobile app launch, we have worked in-house to bring the best user experience yet to users of this amazing devotion. I am glad that we are custodians in partnership with Daddy G.O and his team in bringing the content into people’s mobile devices.”

He also mentioned some key features which will be available in the mobile app: “We have been working to ensure that user experience is better, we have added easy to access icons, to help users navigate through the app to read their favourite devotion on their mobile devices and much more…”

In summary, the functions of the Open Heavens 2015 app are:

• Bookmarking

• Allows you to read previous and future devotions with a calender feature.

The Open Heavens Mobile App will also be available in Teens and French language with subsequent release in Hausa, Igbo and Yoruba languages. The App will be available on iTunes App Store, BlackBerry App World, Google Play (previously Android Marketplace), Amazon App Store and Nokia Ovi Store.
