The Inter-Party Advisory Council (IPAC), Lagos State chapter, has elected Mr.Akinola Obadia of Independent Democrats, party as the new chairman of the body, to fill the vacant position previously held by Mr.Tunde Agunbiade of the National Conscience Party, (NCP).

Obadia recently emerged as IPAC’s chairman, after an election conducted by the General Assembly of the Council at the Lagos office of the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC,2,Birrel Street, Yaba , Lagos.

20 out of the 22 political parties Chairmen in the state were present at the by – election with Mr.kamal Olorunoje of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP as electoral officer under the supervision of INEC Officials.

Other executive members of IPAC , Lagos State are: Vice Chairman, Mr. Kola Ajayi of the Alliance for Democracy, AD: Secretary, Comrade Shola Omolola of Action Alliance, A.A; Deputy Secretary, Mallam Shakirudeen Olofin of New Nigerian Peoples’ Party,NNPP: Publicity Secretary, Primate Charles Odugbesi of All Progressives Congress,APC and Treasurer, Mr. Kamal Olorunoje of the Peoples’ Democratic Party, PDP.
