Implementation vital to good governance, says elumelu

A Delta State governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, Mr. Godwin Elumelu, has said that since policies and projects implementation was vital to good governance, his administration will use “critical variables and criteria for regular monitoring of performance,” if elected in 2015.

Lsting areas his leadership will focus on, he said women would get equitable representation in his government and the state party organs.

Elumelu, who represents Aniocha/Oshimili constituency in the House of Representatives, said he will make education compulsory and free to JSS 3 level; encourage agricultural credit schemes to boost commercial farming and establish micro and cottage industries to boost rural development.

The lawmaker, said while operating an all-inclusive government, his administration will prepare Delta State for a better, stable and secure future without oil.
