THE Emir of Illorin, Alhaji Ibrahim Sulu Gambari has dismissed reports that he has endorsed the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate in Kwara State, Senator Simeon Ajibola.

He also described the story as irresponsible, noting that it was an attempt to paint the emirate as partisan.

The monarch’s spokesperson, Alhaji Salihu Mohammed, who said this, called on the people of the state to disregard the report, saying that he had neither endorsed any candidate nor approved any political party.

He further said the Emir as a father of all political parties, did not slam his door.
