BOMADI—An Ijaw political think-tank, Ijaw Political Elders Forum, IPEF,  has thrown its weight behind Chief Oluwole Karetimi, Chairman of Bomadi Local Government Area, as running mate to the Delta State Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, governorship candidate, Senator Ifeanyi Okowa, in 2015 general elections.

IPEF, in a statement after its meeting at Bomadi, said it deemed it necessary to take the position to ensure that a true democrat with impeccable character and experience with obedient disposition from the Ijaw nation occupies the highly revered office.
