BENIN—AHEAD of the 2015 general elections, the Conference of Nigerian Political Parties, CNPP, Edo State chapter, has endorsed Mr. Orobosa Omo-Ojo, to represent Ovia federal constituency in the National Assembly.
It will be recalled that Mr. Omo-Ojo, the Publisher of MidWest Herald, was also recently adopted by over 66 clubs in the area for the National Assembly seat.
A communique by CNPP at the end of its meeting, yesterday in Benin, Edo State by its Chairman, Prince Roy Orhibhabor, said Omo-Ojo who is the current Commissioner for Transport in Edo State was endorsed after a careful assessment of all the aspirants vying for the position.
He said: “Omo-Ojo was painstakingly and unanimously endorsed by CNPP in view of his great intellect, audacious vision, effective performance and physical courage to agitate for the downtrodden, and to rescue the people of Ovia federal constituency.”
